Transforming the Everyday Templates and Branding

We were tasked with creating a series of templates and brand guidelines around the statement “Transforming the Everyday” which was the key message for Siemens Building Tehnologies US. The templates and branding we created needed to fit neatly within the Siemens brand while standing out from other sectors of the company. We chose to elaborate on the guidelines by introducing new layout configurations that were not defined in other templates but also had a unique identity separate from the larger brand.


 

Vertical Inc. Branding

I led the rebranding for Vertical Inc. including an updated color palette, Power Point template, social media templates, style guides and website. The positioning strategy was to focus on the company’s tech forward approach to market intelligence, marketing, and design. The rebrand was part of a larger B2B marketing campaign that aimed to acquire new business in the tech space such as AI, Mobility, Factory 4.0 and Smart Energy.


Roo Beauty

I conceptualized the brand guidelines, product packaging and logo for Roo – a cosmetic start up. It was important for the brand to have a minimalist aesthetic and clean look that reflects the natural skincare line featuring organic botanicals and essential oils.


Comeback with Confidence Smart Building Campaign

Siemens wanted to reposition their suite of building products in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The result was the “Comeback with Confidence” campaign which represented the various ways Siemens building products create safe indoor spaces by improving air quality, managing social distancing, contact tracing, disinfection, and other methods. The goal was to brand the campaign in a way that fits with the overall Siemens brand while conveying a sense of trust and confidence in a period of uncertainty. The various SIemens solutions are color coded consistently throughout all of the designs and in the logo I developed.


Siemens Brand

Siemens has been essential to my development as a designer. As one of the clients I have done the most work with, I have gained a deep understanding of the finer points of the brand’s expression and evolved, added to, and interpreted the guidelines in many interesting ways that can be seen throughout my portfolio.
